La ristampa anastatica dei lavori, che coprono il periodo dal 1955 al 1999, si inserisce nella linea di altre pubblicazioni dell’Ateneo che UNICApress ha promosso per i 400 anni dalla fondazione dell’Università degli Studi di Cagliari. La ricerca nel settore della Fisica Matematica e l’insegnamento di Meccanica Razionale presso le Facoltà di Scienze MM.FF.NN. e di Ingegneria sono i luoghi dove la passione del Professor Melis per la matematica e per l’insegnamento hanno preso vita.
