    Description: Los avances de las llamadas ciencias duras, las ingenierías y las ciencias básicas son un hecho, al punto que son los motores de mayor fuerza en los avances científicos en las últimas décadas. También es un hecho que el sentido de utilidad del conocimiento, el papel de la innovación de las ciencias ha cobrado fuerza y valor situando a las Humanidades en niveles cada vez más distantes aparentemente, de los centros de toda de decisiones en los problemas de nuestro tiempo (Acevedo y Prada Dussán, 2017). En la actualidad la atención del pensamiento está centrado en “en un ‘enfoque orientado al mercado’, que favorece las ciencias biológicas, médicas y tecnológicas, y ha ayudado a reforzar una jerarquía disciplinaria en la que (…) [las] artes y Humanidades han luchado por llamar la atención” Hazelkorn (2015, p. 1).

In fact, the disciplines of drawing have always been confronted with themes and issues relating to transitions from one condition to another. El libro estudia las posiciones e intervenciones de un conjunto de catorce actores: Álvaro Alsogaray, Alberto Benegas Lynch, Germán Bidart Campos, Horacio García Belsunce, Jorge Luis García Venturini, Mariano Grondona, Juan Segundo Linares Quintana, Mario Justo López, José Alfredo Martínez de Hoz, Víctor Massuh, Jaime Perriaux, Ambrosio Romero Carranza, Carlos Sánchez Sañudo y Ricardo Zinn. La elección de estos nombres implica considerar un abanico amplio de trayectorias que componen figuras intelectuales de diversidad, unidas sin embargo por muchos más vínculos que la adscripción política. La obra se interna en la historia político-intelectual de un espacio ideológico aún poco explorado desde los estudios sobre la intelectualidad, las derechas y la propia dictadura, reponiendo los diversos espacios ocupados por estos hombres, sus proyectos, coincidencias, polémicas y desencantos en un momento clave de la historia argentina.

    Description: El territorio tiene cada día mayor importancia, tanto en su componente físico como en su dimensión sociocultural. La gestión de los recursos naturales, el problema del acceso a la tierra, la gobernabilidad, las cadenas productivas, las políticas de infraestructura, la cosmovisión campesina, la construcción de identidades y otros son temas relacionados con el espacio y el territorio. El espacio y el territorio han sido investigados desde diversas disciplinas, como la geografía, la economía y la sociología. Sin embargo, todavfa carecemos de propuestas metodológicas intégrales. Por eso, revisando los caminos transitados por la geografía moderna y centrando su preocupación en los conceptos de espacio y territorio, este libro propone una lectura multidimensional y multidisciplinaria del tema, ofreciendo un panorama de los diferentes enfoques, métodos e instrumentas para estudios empiricos, como los métodos estadísticos, cartográficos y, como dice Erwin Galoppo, "ese producto génial de la geografía francesa contemporanea: los coremas".

    Description: el texto que se presenta aquí sistematiza las experiencias del proyecto “Diplomatura virtual en prevención de problemáticas psicosociales en el ámbito universitario con énfasis en adicciones”, auspiciado por el Centro Coordinador de la Investigación de la Federación Internacional de Universidades Católicas –FIUC-, en el que participaron las Universidades: Universidad Católica Luis Amigó (Colombia) a partir del reconocimiento como universidad que otorgó el Ministerio de Educación Nacional a la institución, el 10 de noviembre de 2016; Católica de Honduras Nuestra Señora Reina de la Paz; Católica de Costa Rica y Católica de Chile Cardenal Silva Henríquez. En la primera parte del texto se da cuenta del proyecto, sus antecedentes, objetivos, metodología y actividades; una reseña sobre las instituciones participantes y una reflexión sobre los problemas psicosociales de los universitarios hoy. En la segunda parte, se presentan los resultados de las pesquisas desarrolladas por cada una de la Universidades participantes, para dar cuenta de las problemáticas psicosociales que más afectan a sus propias comunidades educativas y del programa de prevención diseñado para intervenir dichos problemas.

    Description: The reading experience and the self-referential stories of children between five and six years of age presented in this booklet are the result of the work elaborated by the transition students of the Franciscan School of Pius XII, within the framework of the activities of the psychology professional practice project, whose purpose was to approach narratives and stories as an excuse to navigate through the subjective productions elaborated from the reading experience. The elaboration of the stories allowed the construction of a space to relate personal events considered significant for the children. Therefore, each story that the reader will encounter speaks of a small world that found a way to be transmitted to others through narrative. Beyond building a story, the idea was to allow a moment to think about those experiences that give meaning to existence, as they are loaded with imagination, emotions and sensations, which is an opportunity to develop the process of conceiving themselves as subjects with a story.

    Description: La experiencia de lectura y los relatos autorreferenciales de niños de entre cinco y seis años que se presentan en este cuadernillo son el resultado del trabajo elaborado por los alumnos de transición del Colegio Franciscano de Pío XII, en el marco de las actividades del proyecto de práctica profesional de psicología, cuyo propósito fue abordar las narrativas y los cuentos como excusa para navegar por las producciones subjetivas elaboradas a partir de la experiencia de lectura. La elaboración de los cuentos permitió la construcción de un espacio para relatar acontecimientos personales considerados significativos para los niños. Por lo tanto, cada historia que el lector encontrará habla de un pequeño mundo que encontró una forma de ser transmitido a otros a través de la narrativa. Más allá de construir una historia, la idea era permitir un momento para pensar en aquellas experiencias que dan sentido a la existencia, ya que están cargadas de imaginación, emociones y sensaciones, lo que constituye una oportunidad para desarrollar el proceso de concebirse como sujetos con una historia.

    Description: Los conceptos de comunidad y territorio han sido muy relevantes para la compresión de los procesos sociales, pues dan cuenta de contextos particulares, de rasgos identitarios específicos, de diversas formas de participación y de usos y prácticas concretas. Por ello, el equipo interdisciplinario de estudios en desarrollo local de la Universidad del Rosario, desarrolló entre los años 2011 y 2012, una investigación que buscaba, por un lado, establecer las formas de construcción de comunidad entre los habitantes del sector El Codito y, por otro, determinar el rol del territorio en estos procesos. El presente texto es uno de los resultados de esta investigación y aborda en sus tres capítulos cuestiones como: la evolución del concepto de comunidad a la luz de diferentes teóricos, contrastándola con las percepciones y vivencias de los adultos mayores de El Codito, su consolidación como territorio significado, enmarcado en el proceso de urbanización de Bogotá, en general, y de la localidad de Usaquén, en particular, y la construcción de comunidad a través de variables como la cotidianidad, el sentido de pertenencia, el género y la participación.

    Description: Can we build peace? relaunches the question of peacebuilding as a commitment to research and reflection beyond established theoretical frameworks. Each chapter of this book reflects the search and the questions that mobilize different scholars from their own intellectual trajectories and life experiences. It is a book that harbors the richness of its content in the diversity of methodical approaches to the question of peace. Thus, it understands that to build, to recognize, to dissent, to transform, are verbs of solidarity with which the transition from a country in conflict to a possible peace is conveyed. From the academic point of view, one of the great challenges is to consolidate the convergence of interests, knowledge and actions that allow a clear understanding of the complexity of the problems of the transition to peace. One of the premises that inspires the authors is to propose a decentered reading of established theories, without ignoring their value and without rejecting the necessary specificity required to elucidate and address specific issues such as psychological effects, legal discussions or media logics. Thus, the reader will find dissertations on cardinal issues of social, political and cultural life on which it is necessary to reflect in the processes of overcoming armed conflicts. This proposal seeks to delocalize, from a theoretical and methodological point of view, the research reflection and promote an interdisciplinary dialogue among authors from different regions and countries, in order to summon readers interested in understanding, from different points of view, the tensions, problems and ambiguities that Colombia faces in terms of peace.

    Description: ¿Podemos construir la paz?, relanza la pregunta por la construcción de paz como una apuesta por la investigación y reflexión más allá de los marcos teóricos establecidos. Cada capítulo de este libro refleja la búsqueda y los interrogantes que movilizan a distintos académicos desde sus propias trayectorias intelectuales y experiencias de vida. Es un libro que aloja la riqueza de su contenido en la diversidad de aproximaciones metódicas a la pregunta por la paz. Así las cosas, entiende que construir, reconocer, disentir, transformar, son verbos solidarios con los que se vehiculiza la transición de un país en conflicto, hacia una paz posible. Desde el punto de vista académico, uno de los grandes retos es consolidar la convergencia de intereses, saberes y acciones que permitan una clara comprensión de la complejidad de los problemas de la transición hacia la paz. Una de las premisas que inspira a los autores, es proponer una lectura descentrada de las teorías establecidas, sin desconocer su valor y sin recusar la especificidad necesaria que requieren la elucidación y abordaje de asuntos concretos como los efectos psicológicos, las discusiones jurídicas o las lógicas mediáticas. Por lo anterior, el lector encontrará disertaciones sobre temas cardinales de la vida social, política y cultural que precisan ser reflexionados en los procesos de superación de conflictos armados.     Description: Se cree que en el marco de un contexto de institucionalización y formalización de la política social, orientada a afianzar un sistema integral de protección social que garantizara una serie de derechos, se vuelve clave desentrañar las condiciones objetivas y los sentidos implicados en los procesos de implementación de tales políticas. A fin de comprender y dimensionar el alcance de tal escenario en términos de avances en la superación de la pobreza, de la vulnerabilidad y de la exclusión, en el logro de la equidad de género y de derechos de niños, adolescentes y adultos mayores de hogares pobres -excluidos normativamente de las lógicas reproductivas y productivas y por tanto subordinados y desigualados en distintos sentidos-, planteamos actualizar conocimientos sobre algunas problemáticas previamente indagadas e incorporar otras cuya novedad deriva de cambios legislativos que avanzaron en el reconocimiento de derechos. La obra contiene el análisis de las siguientes políticas sectoriales: trabajo, salud, educación y vivienda, dirigidas a grupo poblacionales con vulnerabilidades específicas: hogares pobres, niños y jóvenes que viven y/o trabajan en la calle, adultos mayores pobres, mujeres en edad reproductiva. Alejándose de la vista inocente y contemplativa, los autores del libro proponen desde sus contribuciones, situar la función social de las imágenes en el centro de sus análisis de caso, los cuales abarcan un amplio conjunto de procesos latinoamericanos ocurridos entre los siglos XIX y XXI en países como Chile, Brasil, Perú, Colombia y Argentina.     Description: This collective work makes significant and unprecedented contributions to intercultural studies, in general, and intercultural education, in particular. It is a set of studies that offer a very well differentiated Latin American panorama and with comparative contributions that generate lines of future research. For this reason, I believe that it may soon become an important international reference work (GUNTHER DIETZ). It is a very current and relevant work for the Latin American context. It is a commitment to work with, in and from the communities, which is related to one of the objectives sought, which is to understand interculturality from the grassroots. It is an enjoyable read and I consider that it can be a contribution both to continue with the research presented and to generate much more participatory and collaborative methodologies in the field, breaking with the classic Eurocentric object-subject visions. On the other hand, the degree of commitment that can be seen in several chapters can serve as motivation for social scientists who are beginning in the field (ELEDER PIÑEIRO).

Es un conjunto de estudios que ofrecen un panorama latinoamericano muy bien diferenciado y con aportes comparativos que generan líneas de investigación futura. Por ello, creo que puede convertirse pronto en una importante obra de referencia internacional (GUNTHER DIETZ). Es una obra muy actual y relevante para el contexto latinoamericano. Es una apuesta por el trabajo con, en y desde las comunidades, lo que se relaciona con uno de los objetivos buscados, que es entender la interculturalidad desde las bases. Es una lectura amena y considero que puede ser un aporte tanto para continuar con las investigaciones presentadas como para generar metodologías mucho más participativas y colaborativas en el campo, rompiendo con las clásicas visiones eurocéntricas objeto-sujeto. Por otro lado, el grado de compromiso que se aprecia en varios capítulos puede servir de motivación para los científicos sociales que se inician en el campo (ELEDER PIÑEIRO).

    Description: The court and court society in the Hispanic world (16th-18th centuries): The courtly world has emerged as a propitious intellectual and historiographical space for thinking and writing the history of early modernity. Ever since the renewal of the so-called ‘political history,’ but also after the perspective of cultural studies, the courtly has become the privileged scenario for the study of the political society of the Modern Age, starting from the analysis of the formation of the different social actors’ different political identities in dispute, as well as the tracking of hidden interests in decision-making in order to understand power groups or networks. Similarly, the courtly cannot but be thought of as that singular scenario and/or space of conjunction and indistinction between the political (public) and the economic (private), as well as a locus of identity formation and dispute. In this sense, the study of the Ancien Régime societies cannot ignore the courtly, which is a key element for understanding and analyzing one of the articulating elements of the globality of the European monarchies, particularly the Hispanic monarchy. As this work describes, this global perspective allows us to understand the importance and imprint of the courtly in America. Therefore, the aim is to analyze and understand the court and the courtly world from multiple perspectives. The articles that make up this work problematize the courtly from different geographical spaces, but above all from different intellectual concerns and preoccupations: princely and courtly education, the problem of the King’s favorite, the religious, the nobiliary, the place of the feminine in the court or, also, the materiality of the courtly texts and the materiality of the government of the monarchy from the court.

    Description: El mundo cortesano se ha erigido como un espacio intelectual e historiográfico propicio para pensar y escribir la historia de la primera modernidad. Desde la renovación de la denominada ‘historia política’, pero también desde los estudios culturales, lo cortesano ha devenido en el escenario privilegiado de estudio de la sociedad política de la Edad Moderna, partiendo de análisis de la conformación de las diferentes identidades políticas en disputa de los distintos actores sociales, como también del rastreo de intereses ocultos en las tomas de decisiones para comprender redes o grupos de poder. Asimismo, lo cortesano no puede dejar de pensarse como ese escenario y/o espacio singular de conjunción e indistinción entre lo político (público) y lo económico (privado), así como un locus de conformación y disputa identitaria. En este sentido, el estudio de las sociedades del Antiguo Régimen no puede obviar lo cortesano, máxima para comprender y analizar uno de los elementos articuladores de la globalidad de las monarquías europeas, singularmente de la monarquía hispánica. Esta perspectiva global nos permite comprender, como se realiza en esta obra, la importancia e impronta de lo cortesano en América. Por lo tanto, esta obra busca analizar y comprender la corte y el mundo cortesano desde múltiples perspectivas. Los artículos que conforman esta obra problematizan lo cortesano desde diversos espacios geográficos, pero sobre todo desde distintas inquietudes y preocupaciones intelectuales: la educación principesca y cortesana, el problema del valimiento, lo religioso, lo nobiliario, el lugar de lo femenino en la corte o, también, la materialidad de los textos cortesanos y la materialidad del gobierno de la monarquía desde la corte.

    Description: Feminicide has become a problem of general interest due to its high impact on the Colombian population; in this sense, this phenomenon was studied to characterize it in the departments of Huila and Tolima, which is why for the researchers it is essential to make this problem visible, pointing out the conditions framing violence against women from this macho culture that prevails in the region and country. The topic is of special interest since a review of press articles, epidemiological reports, local statements, and research on femicide in the two departments was carried out, seeking to make this phenomenon more visible to show the country’s reality so that it can be reported on. The results show that there is no research on the subject, which makes it possible to initiate a database with studies on femicide. Similarly, the National Institute of Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences (2016) considers that the data described on homicide in 2015 and in previous years have decreased in magnitude over the years. The analysis of the variables realizes that the risk factors triggering the violent events that determine homicide have not been neutralized, reduced, or controlled, considering that public policy on security and citizen coexistence has been insufficient.

    Description: El Feminicidio se ha convertido en un problema de interés general por su alta afectación a la población colombiana, en tal sentido se estudió este fenómeno para caracterizarlo en los departamentos del Huila y Tolima, es por esta razón que para las investigadoras resulta fundamental visibilizar esta problemática, señalando las condiciones que enmarcan la violencia contra la mujer desde esta cultura machista que impera en la región y en el país. El tema reviste especial interés toda vez que se realizó una revisión de artículos de prensa, informes epidemiológicos, pronunciamientos locales e investigaciones frente al feminicio en los dos departamentos, buscando visibilizar con mayor fuerza este fenómeno a fin de mostrar la realidad al país para que se informe sobre éste. Los resultados evidencian la no existencia de investigaciones al respecto, lo que permite iniciar una base de datos con estudios acerca del feminicidio. De igual forma, el Instituto Nacional de Medicina Legal (2016) considera que los datos descritos sobre el homicidio en el año 2015 y en años anteriores han disminuido en magnitud año tras año, el análisis de las variables da cuenta que los factores de riesgo que desencadenan los hechos violentos que determinan el homicidio no han sido neutralizados, reducidos o controlados, considerando que política pública de seguridad y convivencia ciudadana ha sido insuficiente.

    Description: Las migraciones internacionales constituyen un fenómeno trasnacional cuya gestión ha sido tradicional mente asumida por los Estados de destino en el ejercicio de su soberanía. Con ocasión de la globalización, el panorama migratorio se ha ido transformando y la cuestión migratoria ha ido ocupando un lugar cada vez más Importante en las agendas de los Estados y las organizaciones con vocación regional y universal, las cuales han comprendido que la gestión migratoria requiere de su cooperación y de su acción coordinada. La gobernanza de las migraciones implica todo un conjunto de desafíos para la comunidad Internacional en su conjunto, especialmente a la hora de superar las tensiones entre las necesidades de controlar la llegada de los migrantes y la obligación de respetar sus derechos y ofrecer una protección a quienes lo requieren. En la búsqueda de un marco ideal para la gobernanza de las migraciones, la presente obra explora cinco hipótesis de estudio y analiza la gestión migratoria en todo el mundo y en las regiones, así como las necesidades de protección de los derechos de los migrantes; subraya los logros, las dificultades y los grandes desafíos para alcanzar un modelo de gobernanza migratoria que resulte coherente con las obligaciones de los Estados en materia de derechos humanos.

    Description: The World Health Organization -WHO- (2016, p.1) notes that, "Annually, more than 800,000 people take their own lives and many more attempt suicide. Each suicide is a tragedy that affects families, communities, and countries and has lasting effects for those close to the suicidal person." Suicidal behavior ranges from ideation in its different expressions, through threats, gestures and attempts, to the suicide itself. The presence of any of these indicators (ideation, threats, gestures and attempts) should be considered as a sign of high risk in the individual presenting them. The relationship between suicide and mental disorders is quite close, however, it does not mean that those who do not suffer from a mental disorder are exempt from this suicidal behavior, since there have been cases that occur impulsively as a response to a crisis that affects the ability to cope with the difficulties of life, such as economic problems, the breakup of sentimental or family relationships, or chronic pain and illness.

    Description: The first components of developmental psychology can perhaps be traced back to the social recognition of infancy and childhood. Many historians agree that this recognition came late. The French historian Philippe Ariès argues that in medieval society there was no room for childhood or the child as theoretical constructs. They would emerge in the course of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. Thus, although a certain sensitivity towards childhood appeared between the 16th and 17th centuries, it would seem that it was only in the 18th century that the child became the object of concern for some thinkers, mostly philosophers and pedagogues. There are several authors who are referents and it is worthwhile to review them, even if only briefly. At the time, Rousseau (1712-1778), in his Emilium, proposes an education centered on the natural evolution of the child, in which he highlights his particularities and differences and places childhood as a necessary and fundamental stage for man. The pedagogue Johann Heinrich Pestalozzi (1746-1827), sympathizes with some of Rousseau's ideas on the education of children and keeps a diary of his son's first two years, which becomes one of the first systematic observations that is assumed to be a precursor of observational methodology in early development. In line with the above, this text can only be understood as a first attempt, unfinished and open, to be continued. It is what the Anglos call a "text in progress", and that the ebook edition will allow us to reopen it without major difficulties. It is also, of course, an incitement to readers to complement it, discuss it or even controvert it. This is intended to be a living text and discussed within the community. It is possible that certain hypotheses about the facts found will give rise to controversy. A colleague warned that lightning will surely strike it as it is a provocative text. Let's hope so: as long as they are illuminating, it will have partially fulfilled its purpose. In any case, there remains a taste for scrutinizing our past more closely with a view to the future and not only to what could not be.

    Description: Los primeros componentes de la psicología del desarrollo tal vez puedan situarse a partir del reconocimiento social de la infancia y de la niñez. Muchos historiadores coinciden en afirmar que ese reconocimiento fue tardío. El historiador francés Philippe Ariès sostiene que en la sociedad medieval no había espacio para la infancia ni para el niño como constructos teóricos. Ellos emergerían en el transcurrir de los siglos XVII y XVIII. Entonces, aunque entre los siglos XVI y XVII se asoma una cierta sensibilidad respecto de la infancia, parecería que es solo en el siglo XVIII que el niño es objeto de preocupación por parte de algunos pensadores, en su mayoría filósofos y pedagogos. Posiblemente ciertas hipótesis sobre los hechos encontrados vayan a suscitar polémicas. Una colega advirtió que seguramente le caerán rayos y centellas en la medida que es un texto provocador. Ojalá así sea: mientras sean iluminantes habrá cumplido en parte su propósito. Queda de todas maneras, un gusto por escudriñar más minuciosamente nuestro pasado de cara al futuro y no solo a lo que no pudo ser.

    Description: This book has a series of characteristics that are worth highlighting. It begins its construction with a team of researchers from the Cognition and Representational Development Group of the Research Center of the Universidad del Valle, which articulates several groups such as the Research Group on Evaluation and Quality of Education (Giece); the Education Group, the Cognitive Development, Learning and Teaching Group, and the Cognition and Education Group. Likewise, the three doctoral programs in psychology in the region participate in its elaboration: Universidad del Valle, Universidad de San Buenaventura Cali and Pontificia Universidad Javeriana de Cali. In the first one, the authors were trained and learned that nonlinear dynamical systems can be a conceptual and methodological way to approach the study of cognitive development. The different works that make up the chapters of the book are ascribed to nonlinear dynamical systems, which offer an innovative conceptualization for thinking about developmental psychology in general and cognitive development in particular. This pioneering and committed task of the group materializes in significant advances in the use of methodologies more in line with the conceptual principles assumed.

Inicia su construcción con un equipo de investigadores del Grupo Cognición y Desarrollo Representacional, del Centro de Investigaciones de la Universidad del Valle, que articula diversos grupos tales como el Grupo de Investigación en Evaluación y Calidad de la Educación (Giece); el Grupo Educación, el Grupo Desarrollo Cognitivo, Aprendizaje y Enseñanza, y el Grupo Cognición y Educación. Así mismo, en su preparación involucra los tres programas de doctorado en psicología de la región: el de la Universidad del Valle, el de la Universidad de San Buenaventura Cali y el de la Pontificia Universidad Javeriana de Cali. En el primero de ellos se formaron los autores y aprendieron que los sistemas dinámicos no lineales pueden ser un camino conceptual y metodológico para abordar el estudio del desarrollo cognitivo. Los distintos trabajos que conforman los capítulos del libro se adscriben a los sistemas dinámicos no lineales, que ofrecen una conceptualización innovadora para pensar la psicología del desarrollo en general y el desarrollo cognitivo en particular. Esta tarea pionera y comprometida del grupo, se concreta en avances significativos en el uso de metodologías más acordes con los principios conceptuales asumidos.

    Description: De acuerdo a leyendas incaicas, a Inicios de los años 1400 hubo una batalla en las afueras del Cusco que cambió el curso de la historia sudamericana. Los chancas, un poderoso grupo étnico de la región de Andahuaytas, habían comenzado un agresivo plan de expansión. Habiendo ya conquistado pequeñas entidades políticas, su ejército habia penetrado profundamente en el territorio de sus tradicionales rivales, los incas. Mediante una serie de maniobras inusuales, los incas derrotaron a las fuerzas invasores chancas y llegaron a transformarse en el grupo más poderoso de los Andes. Muchos investigadores creen quo la derrota do los chancas representa un momento crítico en la histona de Sudamérica, ya que los incas luego continuaron su expansión, estableciendo el más extenso imperio do América. A pesar de la relevancia que habría tenido para la historia sudamericana, hasta hace unos años, el núcleo territorial Chanca había permanecido inexplorado. Consecuentemente, los procesos culturales conducentes al rápido desarrollo de este grupo y la posterior derrota de los mismos a manos de los incas tampoco habían sido investigados. Entre 2001 y 2004, Brian S. Bauer y su equipo de investigación realizaron una prospección arqueológica en la región de Andahuaylas. Este proyecto constituyó una oportunidad sin precedentes para examinar problemas teóricos relativos a la historia y al desarrollo cultural de las sociedades prehispánicas tardías de esta región de los Andes. El libro derivado de dichos trabajos presenta un análisis arqueológico sobre el desarrollo do los chancas y examina su derrota final frente a los incas.

    Description: The analysis experience starts from the fact that the symptom is presented as something in the body that demands an interpretation. There it is inevitable to lead to a judgment about the most intimate thing that lives in each of us; the unveiling of what consciousness would have preferred to reject. At this point, the body, ethics, and tragedy coincide. It is, then, a journey that starts from the question about the points of encounter and disagreement between philosophy and psychoanalysis concerning ethics, tragedy, and the body as a third party that knots said reflection. The relationship between authors such as Aristotle, Nietzsche, Freud, and Lacan is proposed to reach the specifics of the theoretical elaboration of psychoanalysis, finding there the body as an effect of language and, therefore, with a structure marked by the ineffable that is the cause of the symptom.

Es en este punto donde el cuerpo, la ética y la tragedia coinciden.     Description: Las muchas preguntas en torno a la cognición estética, sus potencialidades hermenéuticas, didácticas y pedagógicas, así como sus despliegues creativos en los ámbitos de la educación superior, movilizaron mi interés como investigador-docente y devinieron en provocación que me alentó a vincularme a realizar, conjuntamente con algunos de los integrantes del grupo de investigación Educación y Cultura, de la Facultad de Educación de la Universidad de San Buenaventura Cali, la investigación, a partir de la cual he elaborado esta ponencia. Parto de reconocer que en una gran cantidad de IES los espacios que suelen abrirse para la exploración creadora a través de la cognición estética suelen restringirse a los lenguajes de diferentes disciplinas artísticas y en la práctica se caracterizan por ser espacios fragmentados; habilitados para el despliegue expresivo de los estudiantes y orientados hacia el sano esparcimiento, desconociendo el potencial humanizador, generativo y transdisciplinar de la cognición estética, expresados en la práctica a través de los procesos de la educación por el arte que permean y enriquecen todas las áreas del saber, involucrando activamente el pensar y el sentir como fuente generativa de saberes.

    Description: La investigación sobre inserción laboral de jóvenes profesionales en psicología se hace pública en un momento crucial para la disciplina y el ejercicio de la profesión en el país, donde la comunidad académica y el gremio de profesionales se enfrentan a la tarea misma de insertar la psicología como cuerpo sólido de conocimientos teóricos y técnicos, en el conjunto de saberes, recursos y dispositivos con los que cuentan los ciudadanos y las instituciones. Como colombianos y según lo que la profesión nos permite, hacemos parte del tejido social en el marco de la reparación y reconstrucción integral de una nación que busca con urgencia opciones y acciones que traigan el mejoramiento de la calidad de vida, una mayor inclusión y equidad social. En suma, el desarrollo y el progreso verdaderamente democratizado, a fin de que este corresponda a los recursos individuales y colectivos y al óptimo uso que de ellos logremos hacer, en el marco de las oportunidades.

    Description: Un país para los porteños propone un panorama renovado y plural sobre la experiencia del Estado de Buenos Aires al asumir libremente el ejercicio de su soberanía interior y exterior (1852-1861) en el proceso de construcción del Estado nacional argentino. El objetivo es facilitar una mayor comprensión de los intensos y complejos procesos acaecidos a mediados del siglo XIX que permiten señalar particularidades del Estado de Buenos Aires, sin dejar de considerar los enfrentamientos armados y demás interrelaciones con la Confederación Argentina y las agencias indígenas. Con esa finalidad, quince investigadores elaboraron síntesis argumentativas, estados de la cuestión e investigaciones específicas, desde sus respectivas especialidades, sobre: las provincias y la Confederación Argentina; la rebelión rural y federal de 1852; la condición estatal de Buenos Aires; la renovación política en las gobernaciones; los entramados jurídico-político-institucionales en la campaña; los procesos eleccionarios; las fuerzas armadas de Buenos Aires; las alternativas indígenas; la población, fiscalidad, economía y política de tierras; las mujeres de la Sociedad de Beneficencia; la prensa en la política; la cuestión religiosa; y las formas de construcción de una identidad porteña como comunidad imaginada.

    Description: Formar para la paz en las escuelas no es una tarea fácil, ya que se requiere enfrentar retos para hacer cambios en el entorno social; principalmente hacer cambios en los pensamientos que propicien la participación de los estudiantes y de las comunidades, en la familia, en el sistema educativo, en el área laboral. Estos cambios deben responder para brindar oportunidades sociales; en ese sentido se dice que se construye una cultura de la paz. A lo largo del desarrollo de los intentos por eliminar la violencia alrededor del mundo se toma como referencia a la educación como la manera de encarar los conflictos y la paz como el principio de la convivencia. Mantener la paz es prevenir el quebrantamiento de la justicia, ya que los derechos humanos conducen al respeto de la dignidad de todas las personas. El papel de la escuela, conforme a los compromisos de impulsar la convivencia para vivir en paz, permite mejorar los procesos de enseñanza para trasmitir a los estudiantes las competencias necesarias para aprender relacionarse en un ambiente de armonía, tanto a nivel social como personal; en ese sentido es importante garantizar ambientes que conduzcan a la cultura de la no-violencia.

    Description: La propuesta parte de identificar varios problemas en la historia con la presencia de las mujeres, se asume que la historia que se ha contado, no enuncia las acciones que las mujeres realizaron en la conformación de las naciones, y aquellos actos que se enuncian, no encuentran legitimidad ni validez en un discurso plagado y validado por acciones bélicas que poco tienen que ver con las acciones que realizaron las mujeres. Carla Lonzi (2004) lo denunció en 1972, al afirmar que, “la diferencia de la mujer consiste en haber estado ausente de la historia durante miles de años” (p. 7), lo mismo que, desde la acción política se afirma en el Manifiesto Rivolta Feminille (1970), en el cual una de las consignas declaró que, “sobre la presencia de la mujer no se nos ha dicho nada, o lo que se ha dicho se ha dicho mal: nosotras debemos redescubrir dicha presencia para saber la verdad” (p. 121). A partir de este momento, mostrar la ausencia de las mujeres en el discurso histórico, se convirtió en un acto político, una consigna que hasta la fecha no se ha resuelto y que es necesario descifrar.

    Description: Esta investigación es parte de la tesis doctoral1 que actualmente desarrollo y que tiene como temática central el trabajo desde las identidades de género que cuatro mujeres afrodescendientes o negras2, en condición de desplazamiento forzoso, actrices naturales del grupo Aves del Paraíso del Teatro La Máscara, construyen en el escenario, en dos obras: El solar (2006) y Perdón y olvido (2016). La pregunta por las identidades de género cobra sentido por el hecho de que el montaje escénico que estas mujeres realizan está abordado desde el teatro de mujeres, el cual trabaja a partir de las representaciones de sus propias experiencias de vida.

    Description: El presente libro nos ofrece la oportunidad de conocer el avance de las ideas sobre los interrogantes más destacados de la investigación socio-antropológica y lingüística que se realiza actualmente en Venezuela y en sus espacios limítrofes, en Brasil y Colombia. El lector encontrará también ejemplos de sociedades africanas -de Benín y de Costa de Marfil- que dan materia de reflexión y de comparación. Esta obra es la expresión de la riqueza de las problemáticas cuando, ajustándose al seno del conocimiento, la antropología integra los diferentes puntos de vista al tomarse el tiempo de cruzar el camino de las disciplinas afines. A partir de programas de investigación-participación o experiencias más concentradas en la investigación fundamental sin olvidar, por lo tanto, los intereses indígenas, las diversas contribuciones dan cuenta de las principales preocupaciones contemporáneas de las ciencias sociales. Se observa particularmente una doble orientación en los estudios.     Description: La Educación para la Paz conlleva a la transformación de los modelos de enseñanza, motivando a la creación de una pedagogía restaurativa. Por lo anterior, se pretende plasmar en este capítulo un marco general de la investigación, enfocada a la construcción de una cultura de paz en las aulas, que busca identificar los elementos de la Educación para la Paz, que influyen en la disminución de conductas violentas, en el contexto de las aulas, en una institución educativa en Santiago de Cali, Colombia. La investigación parte al encuentro con la realidad que viven algunas instituciones educativas del país, por causa de factores sociales como desigualdad, pobreza, violencia y el flagelo que ha causado la guerra. Tiene como resultado un análisis de los tres elementos que se deben desarrollar al interior del aula con el fin de disminuir los índices de violencia que se presentan en la actualidad. Los elementos obedecen a las habilidades emocionales, sociales y las herramientas para la solución de conflictos de forma pacífica.

Con base en el antecedente de algunas labores humanitarias desarrolladas por la oficina de Pastoral Universitaria de la Universidad de San Buenaventura Cali para solventar las necesidades básicas de una familia de bajos recursos, un grupo interdisciplinario de docentes se propuso hacer su aporte por medio de una investigación alrededor del ámbito de la vivienda de bajo costo, desarrollando un ejercicio académico que permitiera aunar esfuerzos y conocimientos en torno a una propuesta de vivienda, la cual unida a la problemática de nuestros días acerca de las sostenibilidad y economía en el consumo energético, contribuyera en la búsqueda de soluciones constructivas coherentes con la realidad social, económica y ambiental de la población colombiana de bajos recursos, que desde mucho tiempo atrás reclama propuestas encaminadas a solventar con calidad esta necesidad básica.

    Description: El presente libro reúne las intervenciones más destacadas del coloquio internacional Arqueología regional en la Amazonía Occidental: temáticas, resultados y políticas. El coloquio surgió como respuesta a una necesidad que se Ta venido sintiendo en el transcurso de los últimos 10 artos sobre el estado de las investigaciones arqueológicas efectuadas en la parte Occidental de la Amazonía de los países andinos. El problema real es la falta de intercambio de información básica sobre las pesquisas y los nuevos datos que se generan en la ceja de montaña. Los arqueólogos que trabajan en esta área reconocen el gran vacío que existe en la información regional sobre los avances alcanzados en la investigación de los países vecinos. Aunque las problemáticas que se enfocan en los distintos países de la región andina sean diferentes, todos concuerdan en que lo que se logra en un país, beneficia necesariamente al conocimiento y a las estrategias que se deberían implementar en la región. Una ciencia joven debe construirse con el aporte de todos sus actores y una perspectiva regional multiplica las oportunidades de avanzar a un ritmo más acelerado. La discusión de las políticas de investigación no sólo incumbe a los practicantes, sino sobre todo es una responsabilidad del Estado. Entre sus obligaciones sociales, éste debería plantear los objetivos y las problemáticas, trazar las estrategias y organizar sus recursos para lograr las metas que se pretende alcanzar La investigación debería regirse por un plan socializado y coherente que englobe el estudio, la conservación y la difusión de los recursos patrimoniales (naturales y culturales), pues sin estos pasos previos no es posible ponerlos en función social. Las políticas de estado deben guardar coherencia con el plan de gobierno y en materia patrimonial debe fijarse como objetivo a corto plazo la recuperación de la identidad ancestral y la construcción de un sentido de unidad dentro de la pluriculturalidad que caracteriza al Ecuador actual.
