Summary
A method ff predicting the concentration patterns in the surface layer (SL) on the basis of synoptic information is suggested. Adiabatic and barotropic conditions are assumed. Formulas are suggested for computation of the concentration distribution by continuous point, line, and surface sources depending on the data of numerical weather prediction (NWP).
