Because of the legally laid down refunding for feeding it into the power supply system the wind energy is that renewable energy, that experiences the quickest extension. Correspondingly the effect on landscape becomes more and more apparent. In the article on hand this is clarified by two models on the preconditions, that the extension goes on in the planned way. The first model assumes, that all wind power stations are united in one big wind-park. The second model assumes, that the wind power stations are regularly scattered over the area of the Federal Republic of Germany. The reality will be a mixture of both models. Because of the different wind-conditions the uniting of wind power stations to big wind-parks is characterstic for the North of Germany and the scattering for the South of Germany. Apart from the effect on landscape mainly the effect of noise and that of frightening off birds have to be considered.

The result of this way of looking at the situation is the necessity to look at wind energy not only from the point of renewable energies. Damaging consequences for environment have to be considered and included in the formulation of politics as well.
