Zoomorphology Aims and scope Submit manuscript

Summary

The intercentriolar body in the biciliary spermatids of Nematoplana coelogynoporoides and its changes during spermiogenesis are described. Different functional aspects of the body, for example its presumed role as microtubule-organising centre and its influence on cell elongation, are discussed.
