Summary
In the arid areas of Vaucluse (France) theEphippigerinae and speciallyEphippiger ephippiger Fieb., are able to destroy a great number of the eggs ofThaumetopoea pityocampa (up to 40%) and to play an important part in the population fluctuations of the pest.
