Intensities in Inorganic Complexes

Abstract

A method for calculating the intensity of dn electronic transitions in inorganic complexes is developed and subsequently applied to the computation of the intensity of the visible absorption bands of Ti(III) and Cu(II) complexes. The observed and calculated oscillator strengths are in good agreement.
