Abstract
From the introduction: The Mid-Ocean Dynamics Experiment was a long-term multi-institution
effort to investigate meso-scale motions in the western North Atlantic
Ocean. The Moored Array Project (Buoy Group) of the Woods Hole Oceanographic
Institution participated with a series of moorings to measure
both currents and temperatures. The main field experiment for MODE was
scheduled for March to July, 1973.
