Abstract

The behaviour of the anisotropic part of the magnetoresistivity and the magnetisation in nickel-rare-earth amorphous alloys is studied as a function of the temperature and magnetic field. A consistent treatment of the effects due to the magnetic field and the random anisotropy field is given. The theoretical results obtained are presented and discussed together with available experimental data.
