Description: | CRREL Report Partial Abstract: The statistical characteristics of ice-produced gouges in the sea floor along a 190-km stretch .of the Alaskan coast of the Beaufort Sea between Smith Bay and Camden Bay are studied, based on 1500 km of precisi.on fathometry and sidelooking sonar records that were obtained between 1972 and 1979 in water depths to 38 m. NOTE: The remainder of the abstract contains several equations that are difficult to render with the character set of this system.
