Summary

Studies are made on laminar compressible magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) boundary layer flow over an insulated wall with variable tensor electrical conductivity. The effects of the electromagnetic loading parameter, the magnetic interaction parameter and the ratio of the wall temperature to the free stream temperature on the boundary layer physical parameters have been discussed.
