Zusammenfassung
Das im Phloem nicht wanderfähige45Calcium wird aus wachsenden Früchten vonCucurbita maxima durch den Fruchtstiel abtransportiert, und zwar mit einer Geschwindigkeit, die eine Normaldiffusion nicht zu erzielen vermag. Es wird dies als Indiz für einen Rückstrom im Xylem betrachtet.
