Artin's theorem on the solutions of analytic equations in positive characteristic

Abstract

The purpose of this note is to generalize to the case of positive characteristic the nice theorem on analytic equations proved by M. Artin in the case of characteristic zero. The excellence of the involved rings is used in the proof.
