Description: This dataset contains the amoA genes on three size-fractionated (〉 3.0 μm, 0.45‒3.0 μm, and 0.22‒0.45 μm) ammonia oxidizers and relevant environmental parameters observed along a salinity gradient in the Pearl River estuary, China during July 2014. The temperature and salinity were determined using the CTD system. Gene-related data was obtained using qPCR analysis. Nutrients were determined by an automatic analysis system (Bran-Lube, GmbH). All data were aimed to distinguish the distribution and bioactivity of ammonia-oxidizing bacteria (AOB) and ammonia-oxidizing archaea (AOA) in the Pearl River estuary.

Description: This dataset includes nitrate isotopes and relevant hydrographic and chemical parameters (temperature, salinity, nitrate, phosphate, dissolved oxygen, and so on) observed in the South China Sea basin and the adjoining western North Pacific Ocean during 2011 and 2014. Nitrate isotopes were measured by the denitrifier method. Nutrients were analyzed onboard using a Technicon AA3 Auto-Analyzer (Ban-Lube, GmbH). Dissolved oxygen (DO) was determined using the Winkler method. These data were used to elucidate nitrate dynamics in these regions.

Notes: Abstract In this paper we analyze the algebraic formulations of certain geometry statements appearing in recent literature related to mechanical geometry theorem proving and give several examples to show that one of these formulations can cause serious problems. We clarify a formulation which is essentially due to W. T. Wu and, in our opinion, is the most satisfactory.

Notes: Abstract In Ritt's method, a prime ideal is given by a characteristic set. A characteristic set of a prime ideal is generally not a set of generators of this ideal. In this paper we present a simple algorithm for constructing Gröbner bases of a prime ideal from its characteristic set. We give a method for finding new theorems in geometry as an application of this algorithm.

Notes: According to the heat transmission theory, in the aid of computer, the temperature distributionin the cylinder cavity was calculated. The temperature of the mould has much influence on the time for theinjection material’s temperature of the cavity center to drop to the injection material softening temperature. The influence of the processing parameters on the density of the injection molding specimens wasalso investigated. It turns that the injection molding specimens’ density changes little with the increase ofinjection temperature and pressure, but changes a lot with the increase of holding pressure time

Notes: The composite zirconium silicate microbeads with different pretreating process weredeveloped in this paper. The wear loss of these microbeads was compared by testing of agitation mill. These microstructures with different micro-pores were compared by scanning electron microscopy. Thepore size was found have obvious influences on the mechanism of the wear. Some solutions wereproposed to overcome the micro-pores in the zirconium silicate composite microbeads

Notes: The compressive strengths of three kinds of ceramic microbeads, ZrO2 toughened mullite, zirconium silicate and industrial zirconia, were studied in this paper. The densities of these ceramicmicrobeads were 2.9, 3.5 and 5.3g/cm3. The weighted average of compressive strength of these ceramicmicrobeads was 446.9, 500.8 and 917.3 N/mm2. It was concluded that the compressive strength ofceramic microbeads was proportional to the toughness and Young's modulus of the materials, and a largerdiameter of the ceramic microbeads led to a higher compressive strength
