Description: This dataset includes a global compilation of new and published 14C measurements of benthic foraminifera and deep-sea corals (from 0-to 49872 years BP). We synthesized this new dataset into basin-average 14C ventilation age values over the 25,000 years, along density surfaces associated with the upper and lower cells of global ocean overturning circulation (27.5 and 28 kg m^-3, respectively). The published datasets are from all ocean basins, even those not utilized in our synthesis. We also provide the basin-average estimates for the Atlantic, Southern, and Pacific Oceans as produced by the Rafter et al. 2022 study.

Notes: The superplastic properties of Ti3Al base alloy have been investigated in the range of900~1020°C and strain rate range of 3.3×10-4~3.3×10-2s-1 .The largest elongation of 1570% wasobtained under the optimal superplastic deformation condition of 980°C and 3.3×10-4 s-1. Them-value varied from 0.46 to 0.59, its maximum value was obtained at 980°C.The microstructure ofthe alloy after heat treatment was composed of two phases of small spherical α2 phase particlesdistributing in βtransus matrix. Microstructure change has an obvious effect on the superplasticproperties of Ti3Al-based alloy. At 980°C,when theα2 phase grain size changed from large to smallthen large and the cavitations in the fracture surface were larger and deeper with decreasing strainrate, the alloy showed the larger elongation and the lower flow stress

Notes: Oxidation resistant SiC coating for graphites was prepared by a pack cementation process withmixture powders of Si, C, SiC and some infiltration additives containing MgO, Al2O3 and Cr2O3. Theinfluence of different infiltration additives on the phase, microstructure and oxidation resistance of SiCcoating was primarily investigated. The results showed that adding infiltration additive in the packpowders is helpful for depositing denser SiC coating on graphite substrate; and the coating prepared byusing MgO as infiltration additive exhibited better oxidation resistance at high temperature. XRDanalyses revealed that SiC coating prepared by adding of MgO as infiltration additive possessed more freesilicon; and the SEM analyses displayed that the free silicon could effectively fill the small holes of theSiC coating, which resulted in a perfect dense surface structure of SiC coating. Oxidation test showed thatthe as-prepared SiC coating could effectively protect graphite materials at 1500oC for 200 hours and thecorresponding weight loss of the coated graphite was only 0.13%

Notes: Nano-particle hydroxyapatite (HAp) was directly prepared by a wet chemical precipitationmethod with the aid of ultrasonic irradiation in solution using Ca(NO3)2, NH4H2PO4 and NH2CONH2 assource materials. The nano-HAp formation rate at different preparation temperatures and under differentultrasonic irradiation powers was measured and the influence of ultrasonic irradiation power on thesynthesis kinetics of the nano-hydroxyapatite was investigated. It was found that the nano-HAp contentincreased with the increase of ultrasonic irradiation power, preparation temperature and reaction time.Under different ultrasonic irradiation power, an Arrhenius relationship was found between the nano-HApformation rate and preparation temperature. It showed that with the increase of ultrasonic irradiationpower from 100W to 200W and 300W, the synthesis activation energy of nano-HAp crystallites decreasefrom 63.2 KJ/mol to 59.9 KJ/mol and 48.1 kJ/mol respectively by calculation

Notes: The prediction procedures of the residual stresses in welding process were presented byusing finite element techniques. Owing to localized heating by the welding process and subsequentrapid cooling, the residual stresses can arise in the weld itself and in the base metals. The bilinearelastic-plastic material model based on Von Mises yield criterion was developed. The material nonlinearityof weldment and welding fluid was dealt with using an incremental technique. Inside eachstep, the Newton-Raphson iteration method was utilized. A fully coupled thermo-mechanical twodimensionalanalysis was performed with finite element method. The model applied in this studyadopts the technique of element birth and death to simulate the weld filler variation with time inmulti-pass welded joints. The effects of welding speed on residual stresses are discussed
