    Description: In this project,four types of structures,of 40 number was investigated.In a six month period,the structures were inspected 13 times.The total weight and number of eggs hatched on the structures were estimated to be 214.1kg and 94944 respectively.The weight and number of eggs settled on trap types were 141.9 and 60982 respectively,whereas,The eggs on cubical structures were estimated 56.7kg and 27088 ,on pyramid structures 7.9 and 3941 and then also were 6.9kg and 3280 eggs on cylindrical structures respectively.It is also estimated that 358 eggs were settled on The connecting line weighting 0.5kg.In this report four types of structures was compared.As a result,the trap, cubical, pyramid and cylindrical structures had contributed to the settelment of 66,27,4 and 3 percent of eggs in weight. While 64,29,4 and 3 percent of eggs in number was settled on these structures respectively.Thus it is concluded that the trap structures fallowed by cubical ones had acted more effectively relative to other two.If based on the results of other studies,we assume 80% survival rate of eggs and average weight of 1.2kg of survival growth cuttlefish , then it can be calculated that 160 structures can contribute to 91 tons increase in cuttlefish stock in one area of 4 to 5 acre.It is obviaus that by planning an annual increase of the structures,it is passible to attract more spawners to spawn and produce more larvae.Moreover,The old structures will be covered by corals and barnacles and become amore stalie and attractive spawning ground for cuttlefish.

    Description: The effects of aquaculture industry on the environment were evaluated by studying the water quality of Bushehr costal water during culture season 2005 and 2006. The variations of selected parameters such as total phosphorus, ammonia, chlorophyll a, pH, salinity and... Were monitored in effluent canal, influent canal and open sea in Helleh and Mond regions as monthly. Following occurrence of White Spot Disease (W.S.D) in the shrimp ponds of Bushehr province, shrimp culture suspended and entrance of effluent waters completely were blocked since August 2005, despite the absence of aquaculture sewage evaluation of environment and sampling were continued. During releasing of sewage of shrimp ponds to the coastal waters of Bushehr in Jun 2005, the average amount of ammonia in Helleh and Mond were obtained to be 0.161 mg/l and 0.194 mg/l, however the average amount of total phosphorus in Helleh and Mond regions were 0.149 mg/l and 0.043 mg/l, respectively. Although effluent water suspension, amount of ammonia and total phosphorus were increased in both region especially in June 2006. Comparing present data in Jun 2005 and recorded data from culture period 1997-2003 with permitable range of municipal and aquaculture waste show that; aquaculture industry on both regions have not had any obvious negative effect on the coastal waters of Bushehr but it seems if other sources of pollutions in the region is not controlled, then the aquaculture industry can contribute to occurrence of environmental problems.

    Description: This survey was designed in the Helleh region, to understand effects of aquaculture industry on coastal waters of Busher, in 2000. Sediment and water samples were collected from effluent canal, influent canal and sea during the 7 month period (harvest and post harvest season). The variations of selected water quality parameters were controlled monthly. Results show that, in effluent canal, estimated parameters of water was higher than other stations every month, and tend to decreased after being discharged into the sea and got closed to normal level. Comparison of above data with permit able range of municipal and aquaculture waste and comparison of present data with data of normal condition of region, show that, aquaculture industry of Helleh region has not had any obvious negative effect on the coastal waters of Bushehr, in the culture year of 2000.

    Description: This study was a part of the national big plan of "Attain to technical knowledge of specific pathogen free shrimp production and cut off to dependence on foreign products . "Shrimp aquaculture as one of the most important activities in the world and Iran is expanding. Bacteria and fungi of the most common infectious agents causing diseases are in the hatchery and shrimp. The most important bacteria causing diseases in the hatcheries and shrimp Farms, bacteria are Vibrionaceae family. The fungi can be identified as Fusarium, Mucor, Cladosporium, Aspergillus, Penicillium and yeast. Utilized of water supply system in this project for breeding and reproduction of shrimp is a controlled system. This system acts as a part of biological security. Incoming water before the utilization was monitored for the total bacteria count, fungi and as well as Vibrionaceae family, each 15 days. If contamination is too predictable, additional tests and necessary treatments were carried out to improve the quality of the water. The water, after use in the system and after passing through the filtration system, was guided out. The frequencies of water and sediment sampling were once per month. The water samples for analysis of heavy metals and PAHs were fixed by HNO3 and H2SO4 (pH〈2), respectively. Heavy metals (Cu, Zn, Cd, Pb, Hg, As) in water samples were analyzed by Polarograph (Metrohm-797). PAHs in water and sediment were extracted by an extractor funnel and microwave digestion method, respectively. Then, these compounds were defined by GC- MS. The quantities of heavy metals in water samples were low. In the water sample inlet station (in sea) and aquaculture center of SPF shrimp, concentrations of metals were significantly different (p〈0.05). Significant correlations were not seen between levels of heavy metals in water samples (sea and aquaculture center of SPF shrimp) and sampling time (p〉0.05). There were 17 compounds of PAHs detected in the samples. The samples were calculated using (low molecular/high molecular) PAHs ratio (LMW/HMW) to determine the sources of PAHs. The value of less than 1 is the pyrolytic sources and more than 1, consist of petrogenic sources. In this research LMW/HMW ratio was less than one. On the other hand PAHs of sediments had pyrolytic sources.

    Description: The present investigation was performed to identify the impact effect of development and climate change on the zooplankton assemblage in coastal waters of Bushehr-Delvar region. Sampling was occurred seasonally at depths of less than 10 m using a Bongonet (100 µm) at 10 stations including Jophreh, Jalali, Dastak, Saretol, Helileh, Bandargah, Niroogah, Bushehr, Piazy and Delvar from the summer 2015 to the spring 2016. 40 Zooplanktoon groups belong to 8 Phyla were identified. Crustaceans were the most dominant zooplankton group with the average annual abundance of 37.66% of total zooplankton abundance. The total annual abundance of jellyfish including Salps, Cnidaria and Ctenophora was 16.11% which in comparison with the previous registered data indicated a significant increase over the last four decades in the region. The average annual abundance of zooplankton and Shannon-wiener diversity index were 10577.5±5512.69 /m3 and 2.44±0.218, respectively. The highest and the lowest density of zooplankton were found in Saretol and Delvar stations with the average amounts of 21250±13874/m3 and 4388±3075/m3, respectively. Also, the highest and the lowest density and diversity of zooplankton were observed in the summer and the winter, respectively. Correlation coefficient between the average temperature variation with zooplankton density and Shannon–wiener diversity variations were assessed 0.665 (P〈0.34) and 0.91 (P〈0.09), respectively. Comparing the results of the present study with the results of the previous investigations indicated that zooplankton assemblage in the coastal waters of Bushehr-Delvar region has been changed under the influence of various natural and human pressures including increased temperature and nutrients which resulted in increasing the density, reducing diversity and changing the species composition of zooplankton.

    Description: Cochlodinium polykrikoides is a common red tide former associated with fish kills in the most coastal waters of the world. Pay attention red tide problems to human and environment, forecast and control of algal bloom are aim of a lot of coastal environmental studies. Following Cochlodinium polykrikoideswas bloom in Oman Sea and Persian Gulf, extensive mortality of aquatic animal were seen in 2008, instances verified extensive damaged to wetland habitats during algal bloom. In this study have been tried for finding a suitable chemical composition for Mitigation of Cochlodinium polykrikoides bloom in wetlands. To identify the safe chemical substance against red tide in coastal waters wetlands, concentration effects of 0.01 mg/l, 0.04 mg/l, 0.4 mg/l, 1 mg/l and 1 gr/l Magnesium Hydroxide, Poly Aluminum Chloride (PAC), Aluminum Sulfate, Sodium Hypochlorite, Calcium Carbonate, Ferrous Sulfate, Starch on Laboratory cultures of Cochlodinium polykrikoides (1000000 cell/lit) and Litopenaeus vannamei were studied in Iranian Shrimp research center. Cochlodinium polykrikoides were cultured under a cool white fluorescent light of 2000 lux intensity with a 12:12 h light: dark cycle. Temperature and salinity were controlled 28 °C and of 30 g/l (ppt), respectively. Finding show that, all concentration of above substance, completely disintegrated of cultured Cochlodinium polykrikoides. Also except 1 g/l Sodium Hypochlorite, in other concentrations of studied substances, there weren’t seen shrimp mortality after 96h. Among studied substance, starch have limit effects on the shrimp health and environment, therefore it can be suitable for controlling of Cochlodinium polykrikoides in shrimp ponds.

    Description: Designing and establishment ISO/IEC17025 in IFRO and related research centers (Bushehr, Sari, Bandar Abbas ) is of interest from both research programs and improved research services . This project has been conducted for the first time in ISRC at Bushehr province by co-operation of IFRO and IGX Co from 2007 to 2010. The aim of this study was to investigate the establishment of ISO/IEC17025 in test laboratories . . Establishment of ISO/IEC17025 has been done in three stages . In first step gap analysis of laboratories was done .In second step training courses for laboratories staffs and different type of procedures was compiled . Review of documents , internal auditing training course and internal auditing activity of laboratories was also done and applied to laboratory conformity . In present study laboratory facilities has completed including: sandwich panel partitioning whit coated electrostatic 10 cm diameter , 147.68 m 2 ( square meter ) and also one way door whit slit slot 9 , cabinets 30 m2 ( square meter ) , mechanical and electrical affairs , laboratories equipments19 unit : micro centrifuge , hydrometers , bougarof lam , sampling bottles , plankton nets , digital autoclave , friseur , refrigerators , on the job training courses 5 ,QM(1) , Instructor procedures (21) , test method instructors(9) , sampling instructors (4) , technical equipment instructors ( 21) , and 50 forms and lists . The system has been audited during summer 2009 in a laboratory site located Bahmany area, Bushehr. The audit has worked out well and result show that no serious operational problems have accrued. Results also showed that QMS was successfully achieved ISO/IEC17025 accreditation by the IAS( Iran accreditation system) for three laboratories named , molecular genetics , pathology and plankton . Here we also found that accurate approaches for useful to more study of the other laboratories of ISRC and have the potential to provide long term data sets.
