    Notes: Availability of defect test algorithm that recognizes exact and standardized defect information in order to fundamentally resolve generated defects in industrial sites by giving artificial intelligence to SAT(Scanning Acoustic Tomograph), which previously depended on operator’s decision, to find various defect information in a semiconductor package, to decide defect pattern, to reduce personal errors and then to standardize the test process was verified. In order to apply the algorithm to the lately emerging Neural Network theory, various weights were used to derive results for performance advancement plans of the defect test algorithm that promises excellent field applicability

    Notes: Recently, the world is preparing for new revolution, called, ‘IT(Information Technology), NT(Nano-Technology), and BT(Bio-Technology).’ NT can be applied to various fields such as semiconductor-micro technology. Ultra precision processing is required for NT in the field of mechanical engineering. Because of radical advancement of electronic and photonics industry, necessity of ultra precision processing is on the increase for the manufacture of various kernel parts. In this paper, stability of ultra precision cutting unit is investigated and this unit is the kernel unit in ultra precision processing machine. According to alteration of shape and material of hinge, stability investigation is performed.Hinge shapes of micro stage in UPCU (Ultra Precision Cutting Unit) are designed in two types, where, hinge shapes are composed of round and rectangularity. Elasticity and strength are analyzed on micro stage with respect to hinge shapes by FE analysis.The micro stage in ultra precision processing machine has to keep hinge shape under cutting condition with 3-component force (cutting component, axial component, and radial component) and to reduce modification against cutting force. Then we investigated its elasticity and strength under these conditions. The material of the micro stage is generally used for duralumin with small thermal deformation. Since the elasticity and the strength quiet become important, the stability of the micro stage is investigated. Used materials are composed of aluminum of low strength and cooper with medium strength and spring steel with high strength.Through this stability investigation, trials and errors are reduced in design and manufacture at the same time, and we are accumulated foundation data for a unit control

    Notes: Recently, the demand for Ultra-precision products is rapidly increasing, especially in such industries as semi-conductors, computers, aerospace, and precision machinary. Ultra-precision processing is also extremely needed for NT in the field of mechanical engineering. Lately, together with drastic advancement of electronic and photonics industry, the need of Ultra-precision processing is increased in the manufacturing of various kernel parts, which are connected with these industrialfields. Especially, motion accuracy to nanometers is required in order in stroke of hundreds millimeters according as the diameter of the processed object great and the processing accuracy rises. In this case, the response speed absolute delay due to inertial mass of the moving parts is very large. Therefore, real-time motion error compensation becomes the barest necessity. In this paper, we used ultra-precision cutting unit (UPCU) to cope with the problem. A special UPCU was designed and tested to obtain sub-micrometer from accuracy in diamond turning of flat surfaces. The thermal growth spindle error was compensated in real time using the UPCU driven by piezoelectric actuator along with a laser encoder displacement sensor

    Notes: The common transportation methods for the consumers of the ironwork such as the steelroll coils manufactured from the steelworks were either by the land transportation or the seatransportation. In order to transport the steel roll coil effectively and safely to the destination, thestability of the steel roll coil which induced the minimum movements during the transportation wasstrongly required. The basic transportation equipment for the steel roll coil such as the dunnage ismade of 100% imported wood known as the apitong. However, the material characteristic such as therigidity has caused permanent damages to the steel roll coil and the damaged steel roll coils were noteasily restorable thus they were unsuitable for other purposes. Therefore, the introduction of newmaterials manufacturing dunnages which would have a good recovery performance and thus enablethe damage prevention or reduction to the steel roll coil or any other products during thetransportation is needed. This investigation was to develop the new and improved type of a dunnagefrom observing the current dunnage in the following areas; the array or the types of reinforcementsthat established the construction of the dunnage, the dunnage forming shapes of a rectangle and atrapezoid, the direct impacts to dunnage in the presence of vibration when the carrier was moving andstopping, and the critical impact to the dunnage due to the edge loading. Ultimately, the developmentof new type of dunnage that consisted of characteristics being soft and recoverable than the existingapitong dunnage and induces little or no damages to the steel roll coils are required

    Notes: Ironwork, especially steel roll coil, is usually transported to the customers over land or by sea. For fast and safe transportation of steel roll coil without damaging it, it is necessary that steel roll coil is surely fixed. These days, apitong, which is fully imported from abroad, is being used to fix the steel roll coil. However, because of apitong harshness, it often damages the coil that would be hard to fix. Recovering damaged coil is almost impossible, and we have to look for a new type of dunnage,which would be able to substitute apitong. This paper discusses various types of reinforcement, as well as rectangular and trapezoid dunnages. We will consider how rolling occurs and what happens when the carrier starts and stops moving. Thus, it will be possible to design a dunnage, which would not damage ironwork and had better recovery and softness than the existing apitong

    Notes: After Industrial Revolution, energy has been recognized as an important factor whichenhances the motive power for industry in the industrial society. However, recently the excessiveconsumption of energy pursuant to the rapid expansion of industry created serious problems of theexhaustion of fossil fuels as well as unusual change in the weather due to the mass discharge ofcarbon dioxide. We can say that after all proposals will boil down to the development of New &Renewable energy. The most suitable source of energy for this required change is solar energy. Theadvantages of solar energy are that it is renewable, infinite supplied and environmentally safe energysource, and the method of energy supply is in small scale and is decentralized. However, solar energyrelated products have the problems such as the limitation for installation, problems in maintenanceand insufficient reliability, which have been the barrier to consumers to satisfy the purchase need forsolar heat related products. In this research will perform thermodynamic analysis through theapplication of infrared ray thermal imaging camera and will discuss about the applicability of solarenergy system and other fields as well

    Notes: An experimental study is carried out to investigate the performance and the practicalapplication of polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cell(PEMFC) with the double-tied catalyst layersin a Membrane Electrolyte Assembly (MEA). Characteristics of PEMFC depend highly on theconditions such as gas pressure, temperature, thickness, supplied oxidant type (Oxygen/Air) as wellas humidification. They are controlled under the same condition for the comparison of the simulation.Testing condition is fixed at 60sccm and 70℃ in anode and cathode, respectively. The humidificationabout 15% the performance is improved no humidification rather. The current density is increasedaround 20% significantly when pure oxygen gas is provided as an oxidant. It is found that measuredvalues of unit cell voltage and current are influenced strongly by the type and amount of oxidant,which give more enhanced values in case of oxygen compared to the ambient air as oxidant
