    Description: In an indoor environment, object identification and localization are paramount for human-object interaction. Visual or laser-based sensors can achieve the identification and localization of the object based on its appearance, but these approaches are computationally expensive and not robust against the environment with obstacles. Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) has a unique tag ID to identify the object, but it cannot accurately locate it. Therefore, in this paper, the data of RFID and laser range finder are fused for the better identification and localization of multiple dynamic objects in an indoor environment. The main method is to use the laser range finder to estimate the radial velocities of objects in a certain environment, and match them with the object’s radial velocities estimated by the RFID phase. The method also uses a fixed time series as “sliding time window” to find the cluster with the highest similarity of each RFID tag in each window. Moreover, the Pearson correlation coefficient (PCC) is used in the update stage of the particle filter (PF) to estimate the moving path of each cluster in order to improve the accuracy in a complex environment with obstacles. The experiments were verified by a SCITOS G5 robot. The results show that this method can achieve an matching rate of 90.18% and a localization accuracy of 0.33m in an environment with the presence of obstacles. This method effectively improves the matching rate and localization accuracy of multiple objects in indoor scenes when compared to the Bray-Curtis (BC) similarity matching-based approach as well as the particle filter-based approach.

Meanwhile, the maneuvering target introduces nonuniform rotation after translation motion compensation which degrades the imaging performance of the conventional Fourier Transform (FT)-based method in the cross-range dimension. In this paper, a method which combines the distributed ISAR technique and the Matching Fourier Transform (MFT) is proposed to overcome these problems. Firstly, according to the characteristics of the distributed ISAR, the multiple channel echoes of the nonuniform rotation target from different observation angles can be acquired. Then, by applying the MFT to the echo of each channel, the defocused problem of nonuniform rotation target which is inevitable by using the FT-based imaging method can be avoided. Finally, after preprocessing, scaling and rotation of all subimages, the noncoherent fusion image containing all the RCS information in all channels can be obtained. The accumulation coefficients of all subimages are calculated adaptively according to the their image qualities. Simulation and experimental data are used to validate the effectiveness of the proposed approach, and fusion image with improved recognizability can be obtained. Therefore, by using the distributed ISAR technique and MFT, subimages of high-maneuvering target from different observation angles can be obtained. Meanwhile, by employing the adaptive subimage fusion method, the RCS fluctuation can be alleviated and more recognizable final image can be obtained.

    Description: High-voltage electro pulse boring (EPB) has the advantages of high rock-breaking efficiency and good wall quality, and is a new and efficient potential method of rock breaking. The EPB process is defined as random because it is affected by many factors. At present, there is no suitable physical and mathematical model to describe the process and results of rock breakage in EPB, and the conclusions reached regarding rock-breakage mechanisms are not uniform. In this study, a complete damage model of high voltage EPB in granite is established, which includes a shock wave model and a damage model of high voltage EPB in granite. The damage model is based on the Particle Flow Code two-dimensional program. Use of a damage model of EPB accommodates the complete process of high voltage EPB, from discharge to production of a shock wave, and so rock-breaking via electro pulse can be simulated and calculated. The time-varying waveforms of shock waves with different electrical parameters are simulated and calculated on the basis of the model. Different shock wave forms are loaded into the surface and internal rock in the damage geometric model of EPB granite. Then, the breakage process of the rock surface and internally, and the mechanism of rock breakage using EPB are analyzed. This study provides a scientific basis for the quantitative expression and prediction of rock fragmentation in EPB in order to improve the drilling efficiency and reduction of energy loss in the process of EPB.
