Conclusions 1. Based on experimental data obtained with fluidization of two fractions of sand, and for the NAK oxide contact synthesis, there has been established the linear nature of the dependencies; degree of expansion of bed on fluidization number, degree of instability of bed on fluidization number, and relative height of jets of fluidized material on fluidization number. 2. There have been determined the angular coefficients of the line of expansion of the bed, the degree of instability and the relative height of a jet for a NAK synthesis catalyst. 3. Data have been obtained which indicate that it is precisely the height of the fountain-type jets of the solid material from the bed which must determine the arrangement of the cyclone separators and the heat exchangers above the bed.
