The article presents a new experimental method suitable to determine the Stokes parameters of arbitrary polarized synchrotron radiation (SR) in photon energy range E=10–100 eV. The essence of the method is the transformation of frequency of given vacuum-ultraviolet SR to a low energy spectral region by means of exciting the fluorescence of atoms to be followed by measurement of the Stokes parameters of the fluorescent light and the calculation of the Stokes parameters of the SR through the known transformation formulas.
