    Description / Table of Contents: Investigations on reactions of ZIEGLER-type catalysts with 1,3-diolefins led first to the discovery of 1,2- or 3,4-polymerization of butadiene respectively of isoprene. Later on the cyclotrimerization of butadiene under formation of cyclododecatri-1,5,9-ene has been found by variation of the catalysts. The synthesis of all-trans, trans,trans,cis- and cis,cis,trans-cyclododecatri-1,5,9-ene from butadiene will be described, being realized by catalysts containing titanium, chromium or nickel. The structure and configurations of the isomeres has been elucidated by oxydative degradation and by the I.R. spectra.
    Notes: Bei den Untersuchungen über die Einwirkung von ZIEGLER-Katalysatoren auf 1,3-Diolefine wurde zunächst die 1,2- bzw. 3,4-Polymerisation von Butadien bzw. Isopren gefunden. Die Variation der Katalysatoren führte zur Entdeckung der Cyclotrimerisation von Butadien zu Cyclododecatrienen-(1,5,9). Es wird die Synthese von all-trans-, trans, trans,cis- und cis,cis,trans-Cyclododecatrien-(1,5,9) aus Butadien beschrieben, die mit Hilfe von titan-, chrom- und nickelhaltigen Katalysatoren verwirklicht werden kann. Die Konstitution bzw. Konfiguration der Isomeren wurde durch oxydativen Abbau bzw. an Hand der IR-Spektren bewiesen.
