    Description: This book aims to study the history of the University of Vic from 1599, when a Study of Arts was approved for that city, until 1717, the year in which the University was transferred to Cervera. After a preliminary study, the book presents a factitious chronicle, which collects almost all the news of the University life that were found in the municipal documentation, which is complemented with other sources from the Historical Archive of the University of Barcelona, detailing especially the University life in the early years of 18th century. The book concludes with several appendices on enrollments, professors, and degrees.

    Description: Este libro pretende estudiar la historia de la Universidad de Vic desde 1599, cuando fue aprobado un Estudio de Artes para esa ciudad, hasta 1717, año en el que la Universidad fue transferida a Cervera. Tras un estudio preliminar de contextualización, se da paso a una crónica facticia, que recoge casi todas las noticias de la vida universitaria que se encuentran en la documentación municipal, que se complementa con otras fuentes procedentes del Archivo Histórico de la Universidad de Barcelona, que detallan la vida universitaria en los primeros años del siglo XVIII. El libro concluye con varios apéndices sobre matrículas, profesores y grados.

    Description: This book studies the configuration of the freedom of higher education in Spain and in Europe during the 19th century. After a comparative study of European reality (France, Germany, Belgium, Italy, Great Britain and the United States), the book shows that in Spain, during the Revolutionary Sexennium (1868-1874), measures were carried out that were in the European vanguard. The study analyzes, at different stages, who had a monopoly on university education; if professors could freely teach a program; if students had freedom to organize their studies and exams; if the University was free to grant its degrees; and if the university degrees allowed the holder to directly and freely practice his profession. The book concludes with an extensive appendix of legislation, speeches and other virtually unknown materials of the Revolutionary Sexennium.---Este libro estudia la configuración de la libertad de enseñanza superior en España y en Europa durante el siglo XIX. Tras un estudio comparado de la realidad europea (Francia, Alemania, Bélgica, Italia, Gran Bretaña y Estados Unidos), en el libro se muestra que en España, durante el Sexenio Revolucionario (1868-1874), se llevaron a cabo medidas que estuvieron en la vanguardia europea. El estudio analiza, en las diferentes etapas, quién tenía el monopolio de la enseñanza universitaria; si los docentes podían enseñar libremente un programa; si los estudiantes gozaban de libertad para organizar sus estudios y sus exámenes; si la Universidad tenía libertad para otorgar sus títulos; y si los grados universitarios facultaban a su titular para ejercer directa y libremente su profesión. El libro concluye con extenso apéndice de legislación, discursos y otros materiales prácticamente desconocidos del Sexenio Revolucionario.

    Description: In this book, the Regulations of the University of Barcelona of 1638 (which had been unpublished) are studied. This was the most important and lasting regulation of the Studium Generale of Barcelona, which had a wide influence on the Catalan Universities during the Baroque Period. Rafael Ramis-Barceló and Pedro Ramis-Serra reproduce the original text in Catalan, and offer an annotated translation into Spanish, preceded by a Preliminary Study.---En este libro se estudian las Ordenaciones de la Universidad de Barcelona de 1638, que habían quedado inéditas. Se trata de la normativa más importante y duradera del Estudio General de Barcelona, que tuvo una amplia influencia en las universidades catalanas del Barroco. Rafael Ramis Barceló y Pedro Ramis Serra reproducen el texto original en catalán, y ofrecen una traducción anotada al castellano, precedida por un estudio preliminar.

    Description: This book aims to study the History of the University of Girona from 1561, when the first stone was laid, until 1717, the year in which it was transferred to Cervera. After a preliminary contextualization study, a factitious Chronicle is presented, which collects almost all the news of the University Life that were found in the Municipal Documents of the City of Girona, and that were not found in the book that J.B. Torroella dedicated to the University. The book concludes with two appendices: one studies the evolution of rent payments after the transfer of the University to Cervera and the other is a table of the University Professors.

Tras un estudio preliminar de contextualización, se da paso a una crónica facticia, que recoge casi todas las noticias de la vida universitaria que se encontraban en los Actes del ple y los Manuals d’acords de la Ciudad de Gerona, y que no se hallaban en el libro que J. B. Torroella dedicó a la Universidad. El libro concluye con sendos apéndices: uno estudia la evolución del pago de las rentas tras la transferencia de la Universidad a Cervera y el otro es una tabla de los profesores de la Universidad.
