Description / Table of Contents:
59Fe) bestimmt.
Notes:
Summary The cellulose exchangers containing the chelating anchor groups salicylic acid, pyrocatechinedisulphonic acid-(3,5) (Tiron), 1-(2-hydroxyphenyl-azo)-2-napthene (Hyphan) and 4-(pyridil-(2)-azo)-resorcinol (PAR) were used for separation of heavy metal traces (copper, iron) from 10% solutions of the p.a. reagents (NH4)2SO4, NaCl, CaCl2, BaCl2 and from a 25% solution of technical grade ZnCl2 in separation columns. The heavy metal contents were diminished by 2–3 orders of magnitude, in the case of the p.a. reagents from the ppm into the ppb region, corresponding to an increase in the purity to “superpure”. The concentrations of the trace elements were determined by means of radionuclides (labelling with 64Cu and 59Fe, respectively).
