Article Magnetic skyrmions are particle-like spin textures with non-trivial topology which are stabilized by local magnetic interactions. Here, the authors demonstrate theoretically a class of skyrmions which are stabilized dynamically in the absence of interactions in a nanocontact spin-torque oscillator.
