Description: Author(s): Shao-xiong Wu and Chang-shui Yu In this paper, we show that the average three-tangle of the reduced tripartite density matrix for some quadripartite pure states can be increased by some potential measurements on the fourth subsystem, which means this type of quadripartite entanglement can be localized. In particular, we prove that... [Phys. Rev. A 85, 032332] Published Thu Mar 29, 2012

Description: Author(s): Shao-xiong Wu and Chang-shui Yu A unified bound on the quantum speed limit is obtained for open quantum systems with a mixed initial state by utilizing the function of relative purity proposed by F. Campaioli et al. [ Phys. Rev. Lett. 120 , 060409 (2018) ]. As applications, it is found that the quantum speed limit bound for the dampe... [Phys. Rev. A 98, 042132] Published Mon Oct 29, 2018

Description: Infrasound is a type of low frequency signal that occurs in nature and results from man-made events, typically ranging in frequency from 0.01 Hz to 20 Hz. In this paper, a classification method based on Hilbert-Huang transform (HHT) and support vector machine (SVM) is proposed to discriminate between three different natural events. The frequency spectrum characteristics of infrasound signals produced by different events, such as volcanoes, are unique, which lays the foundation for infrasound signal classification. First, the HHT method was used to extract the feature vectors of several kinds of infrasound events from the Hilbert marginal spectrum. Then, the feature vectors were classified by the SVM method. Finally, the present of classification and identification accuracy are given. The simulation results show that the recognition rate is above 97.7%, and that approach is effective for classifying event types for small samples.
